Biloxi, MS

Curiously enough, Biloxi lighthouse stands in the median strip of US Highway 90 near Biloxi, Mississippi. It serves as a marker for motorists as well as seamen. Biloxi was first lighted in 1848 and survived Hurricane Katrina in 2005,becoming a beacon of hope for the Gulf Coast residents after that devastating storm.
