Notes:This lighthouse was designed by engineer Charles Stevenson and his brother David A. Stevenson. A visitor to this site, David Watters, writes, "This picture brings back happy memories of a wonderful childhood spent in Melsetter, just across the moor. The only thing I do not recognise are the unsightly solar panels. There used to be a fantastic fog gun which, as a child, I imagined frightened off the fog!!"
