Bass Harbor - ME

Erected on a steep promontory, Bass Harbor lighthouse was strategically positioned as a harbor guide as well as assisting navigation between Blue Hill Bay and Mt Desert Island. It rises on 36 ft high and a passageway connects it to a two-story keepers dwelling. The light is in Acadia National Park and has remained essentially unchanged in 100 years. BASE 3.5"W X 2.5"D 2.75"H
