NEW
This year’s exclusive redemption replica, available to members only, Mount Desert, Maine. Weathered by many fierce storms, the original 1829 Mount Desert Lighthouse was replaced by a 58-foot granite tower in 1847 with a congressional appropriation of $15,000. Alexander Parris, a prominent Boston architect and engineer designed the new sentinel. In 1857, the Lighthouse Board equipped it with a powerful third order Fresnel lens. Later, a 1,000-pound bell and a foghorn were installed to warn sailors away from the dangerous Maine coastline. Handpainted resin redemption replica measures 7 1/2"L x 5 1/4"W x 5"H.
