Our lighthouse odyssey began in 1990 while we were visiting and researching the lighthouses of the New England Coast. We soon learned that nothing symbolizes the maritime history of our country more than the lighthouses and the keepers who served them.

On our journeys we met hundreds of people who had the same interest, people who were planning their vacations around lighthouse exploring, or who simply had a favorite lighthouse they visited on a regular basis. In 1991 we published our highly successful book on the Lighthouses of Maine and New Hampshire and in 1992, with 34 paid subscribers, we started our monthly publication, Lighthouse Digest, and shortly thereafter, our gift store in Wells, Maine.

Today, Lighthouse Digest has thousands of subscribers, representing every state and twenty countries. Our store has expanded to two complete floors of lighthouse collectibles and gifts that we have literally searched the world for. Now, for those of you who can't make it to Maine, we have selected a variety of high-quality merchandise for you to enjoy through the pages of our catalog.

A percentage of all sales from this catalog will be put into a trust fund to benefit various lighthouse preservation groups around the country. It is our dream that, through the pages of our catalog, you too may become a lighthouse enthusiast, and help us keep the memories of lighthouses and their keepers alive for future generations to enjoy.
