Sitting just south of the entrance to Coos Bay, this lighthouse was Oregon’s second in operation. The tower is 44 feet high and there have been many repairs and refurbishments done. The present lighthouse had a fourth order lens in it. The light was automated in 1966 and there is no access to the lighthouse today. Debris from the first lighthouse is still at the site.
