Edgartown, MA

Located on the eastern side of Martha’s Vineyard, this lighthouse was established in 1828 on the inner harbor in the town of Edgartown, Massachusetts. The early beacon consisted of a simple tower located in the center of a Cape Cod style keeper’s cottage. Destroyed by the hurricane of 1938, the house was replaced by a cylindrical cast iron tower floated by barge to the island. Almost destroyed by vandals over the last twenty years, tremendous efforts have restored this sentinel. It now flashes a solar-powered red and white beam 170 feet above sea level.

Harbour Lights Collectible Replica - Open Edition. 5”x 5” Lit by plug-in AC adapter provided or 3 "AA" batteries (not included).
