Grand Traverse, MI

Established in 1853 on Cat’s Head Point and rebuilt in 1858, this lighthouse has guided vessels in and out of Grand Traverse Bay, Michigan for more than a century. The present structure was built in 1858. A square, brick light tower rises through the red shingled gable roof and contained a fourth order lens that was impossible for ships to miss. The Coast Guard retired the light in 1972 and the building is being preserved as a museum today.

Can be lit by 3 "AA" batteries (not included) or plug in adaptor included with purchase. Harbour Lights Collectible Replica - Open Edition. Lighted 4" x 5"
