Lighthouse model builder Don Perkins recently donated a replica of the Butler Flats Lighthouse to the City of New Bedford. The replica will now be on display at the New Bedford Tourism Visitors Center in New Bedford, MA. Many of Perkins’ lighthouse models are in various locations across the country. His replica of Maine’s Nubble Lighthouse is on display at the American Lighthouse Foundation Lighthouse Museum at Lighthouse Depot in Wells, Maine. He is currently working on a model of Maine’s Little River Lighthouse.
