Directions: From Route 1 take ME 3 to the entrance to Acadia National Park. Follow the 20 mile Loop Road through the park. Egg Rock Light can be seen offshore from three vantage points: The Champlain Mountain Overlook, The Precipice, and the Scenic Overlook. The lighthouse can also be seen from a number of sightseeing cruises and whale watches leaving Bar Harbor. These include the Atlantis Whale Watcher at 1 West Street; call (800) 508-1499 for information. The Bar Harbor Whale Watch Co. offers whale watches and nature cruises; call (207) 288-2386. Check at the Acadia National Park visitor center at the park entrance for more cruise information. Map It!
