Mark Sherman Mobile Point Framed Print

Award-winning artist Mark Sherman is perhaps best known for his series of watercolors for Harbour Lights. This very special painting of Mobile Point, Alabama (Civil War) is available in a Limited Edition of only 250 archival-quality prints signed and numbered by the artist. It depicts the decisive 1864 Civil War Battle for Fort Morgan in Mobile Bay, now famous for Union Admiral Farragut's fierce battle cry, "Damn the torpedoes! Full steam ahead!" During the ensuing battle, Union gunners nearly blasted the Confederate brick lighthouse into a pile of rubble. This 16" x 20" print is mounted with acid-free matting under plexi-glass in a 1 1/4" black wood frame. Measures 24 1/4" x 20 1/4" overall. Please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery.
