Join the 150th Anniversary Celebration! The original 1837 Pottawatomie Light, built of native stone, stood at the mouth of Green Bay on Rock Island. Due to the ravages of time, weather and inferior mortar, the Lighthouse Board razed it and began construction on a new 2-story, limestone duplex in 1858 for a head keeper and an assistant. The tower was centrally located at the north end of the roof and capped with a lantern room housing a Fourth Order Fresnel lens. In 1994, the Friends of Rock Island began a complete restoration of this historic lighthouse.

Each resin collectible is hand cast, handpainted, hand numbered and comes complete with its own history, certificate of authenticity and registration card. Limited to 1,500 pieces. 6" x 5".
