• Can hold 100 lbs of sand to prevent tipping or can be secured to a deck or other flat surface with a "Simpson 4" x 4" Tie Bracket" (not included) and a 14 1/2" tall 4" x 4" post (not included) with a 6" lag bolt (included).
• Optionally, when used as a mailbox, the lighthouse can be secured in the ground with a longer 4" x 4" post as long as a 14 1/2" length is available to slide into the base.
• Standard functional rail with 8 integrated hooks with each end protected by a glued on vinyl cap preventing damage to fabrics
• Includes 4 plastic rodent control plugs to prevent nesting

• Solar powered 10,000 MCD unit with 2 white superbright LED's (light emitting diodes)
• 50,000 hour life expectancy of continuous service
• Lights turn on automatically from dusk to dawn (operates best with 8 hours of direct sunlight)
• For indoor use and shady areas, LED lights can be continuously powered with 1 "AAA" alkaline battery (not included) for at least 30 days. However, if using "AAA" battery and the tower is exposed to sunlight, the battery may overcharge and fail. Replace with solar battery or a new "AAA" battery.
