Stonington Harbor, CT

Settled in the 17th century, Stonington was a thriving port where fishing, whaling and shipbuilding were the mainstays of the local economy. The 35-foot stone tower and dwelling marking the harbor, completed in 1840, replaced an earlier lighthouse threatened by erosion. By 1899, construction of two breakwater lights had made the old station obsolete. The Stonington Historical Society restored the building in 1927 and opened it to the public as a maritime museum.

Each resin beacon is uniquely designed and intricately crafted for authenticity. Not only that, but this GLOW actually lights up! Warm beams of light emanate from the tower. Requires 3 "AA" batteries or your purchased plug-in adapter (not included). Open Edition Lighted. 6" x 4".
