Day One Boston MA

Welcome to Boston, Massachusetts! Tonight your vacation begins with a welcome reception.
Accommodations: Hyatt Harborside Hotel

Day Two Providence RI

We will begin the tour with a visit to Hull Lifesaving Museum, Scituate Light, and head over to Minot Lightkeepers Residence for lunch and a lecture while viewing Minot’s Ledge Light. Accommodations: Providence Biltmore (BL)

Scituate Light

Day Three New Bedford MA

We will spend the day on a narrated lighthouse and lunch cruise with views of the following lighthouses: Conimcut, Warwick, Plum Beach, Dutch Island, Rose Island, Beavertail, Castle Hill, Newport Harbor, Sandy Point and Hog Island. Dinner in New Bedford will be at Davy’s Locker with views of Butler’s Flat Lighthouse. Accommodations: Hampton Inn (BLD)

Day Four Falmouth MA

Today we visit New Bedford Whaling museum (views of Palmer Island Light), Whaleman’s Chapel, Bedford Merchant shopping district and Ross Jones Duff House. Accomdations: Inn on the Square (BL)

Day Five West Dennis MA

We depart for a day on Martha’s Vineyard. Our trip will include speakers and tower access at Edgartown Light, Gay Head Light and East Chop Light. After a ferry ride back to the mainland, we will enjoy a New England Lobster Bake. Accommodations: The Lighthouse Inn (BLD)

Day Six Hyannis/Chatham MA

Highlights of the day include a cruise on Hyannis Harbor with views of Hyannis Harbor Light, a tour of the JFK Museum, Chatham Light and free time in Hyannis and Chatham village. Accommodations: The Lighthouse Inn (BD)

Day Seven Provincetown/Boston MA

We begin our day with visits to Nauset Light, Three Sisters Light, Highland (Cape Cod) Light. In addition there will be free time in Provincetown and a visit to the Pilgrim Monument with views of Race Point Light, Wood End Light and Long Point from the museum and the ferry ride to Boston.
