This month's beautiful cover photo of Sturgeon Point Lighthouse was taken by Gary Pros of Hot Springs, Arkansas. The 1870 lighthouse, which celebrated its 125th birthday in 1995, is now under the custodianship of the Alcona Historical Society. The lighthouse, located in Harrisville, Michigan, is open every day, Memorial Day through mid-October. There is a small gift shop on the grounds.
