Email Policy
We at Lighthouse Depot have grown from a small gift shop to a large international catalog company. We've done it by listening to our customers, and by treating them exactly the way we would like to be treated ourselves. So when we built this new site, we built a state-of-the-art email system which allows users to take control of their own information!
Soon we plan on unveiling new email lists, specifically tailored to our users interests... we intend to offer email lists to special interest groups, including those among you who collect Harbour Lights and Lefton products; book lovers; and a special "Clearance" newsletter informing users of hot new products on sale. You may join these as they become available.
You may have received email from us in the past; if you are on our current list, you may also receive occasional unsolicited mailings informing you about new products, new lighthouse related events, and important legislation involving lighthouses. ALL email messages we send out contain a link to our email form page, so that customers can choose for themselves how they wish their email address to be treated. If you ever have any problems using this page, please report the error to the webmaster at once. This page is designed for your convenience. Additionally, from now on, as users join our membership, they can choose at that time how they wish their email address to be treated.
We send email and print material to our satisifed customers. Additionally, we reserve the right to trade email addresses with selected business partners; although we have currently no plans to do so and have NOT exchanged any email addresses to date. We hope that you will be totally satisified not merely with our products and our guarantees, but with how we treat your confidential information.
We encourage you to remain on our mailing list. Doing so allows you to receive important information about lighthouse restoration, new laws and regulations affecting lighthouses and the maritime industry; and timely information about events of interest to you.
However, if you do not choose to remain on our mailing list, you can remove yourself by following the instructions on any email you receive from us. You can also change your settings by editing your personal information if you have joined our membership... just log in on the home page with your username and password, then go to the "Join" page from the link at the top of any page.
