Shown here left are Keeper Homer Meverden (left) and Keeper Henry Vavrina (right) being presented their 30 year pins in the power house for the fog horn at Big Sable Lighthouse in 1963. Meverden became the last official keeper at Big Sable Light ending his career at the lighthouse.
