The United States Coast Guard Helicopter in front of the flag-draped the tower of the Little River Light Station makes for an extremely patriotic photograph. Next spring a plaque will be placed at the lighthouse in memory of those who lost their lives in the terrorist attack on America and saying that the relighting of the Little River Light is a statement to the world that the American way of life will shine forever and never be darkened.
