Kim Halstead and Bryan Penberthy

Photo Caption:

Kim took the pictures and describes the trip to the remote lighthouse site: “My husband had a Jeep and last year we rode out as far as we could. After about a mile and a half the road was blocked and we had to walk the rest of the way.” The lighthouse has been described as 65 feet tall, but Kim says the structure lying on the ground looks to be only about 25 feet.
