Photo Caption:

Kevin Donohoe and Calla LaChance of the Lighthouse Kids speak to the House Resources and Recreation Committee at the New Hampshire State Capitol in Concord on January 28, 2003. Kevin told the legislators, “We’ve had fishermen write to us to tell us what the lighthouse means to them and how happy they are that someone is trying to save it.” Calla said, “The lighthouse is so beautiful. It’s like the Great Stone Face (the Old Man of the Mountain, the New Hampshire state symbol). If the Stone Face were falling apart, we would try to fix it.”
