Photo Caption:

Bill Younger, Founder of Harbour Lights Limited Edition Collectibles addresses the National Lighthouse Museum Selection Committee prior to the vote. He expressed grave concerns that there was not enough publicity surrounding the idea of a National Lighthouse Museum. He felt that thousands of people - those that collect lighthouse replicas - those that visit lighthouses and have a real, true interest in the preservation of them had been left out in the cold on the involvement for a National Lighthouse Museum. He credited Harbour Lights, the first company to start making lighthouse replicas and its thousands of Collector Society members and Lighthouse Digest and Depot as the ones who conveyed the interest that people have in lighthouses to the rest of the country.
