This postcard, postmarked February 27, 1908, says, “Dear Cousin, As you have seen my former place and pictures from there and have been pleased with them, I’ve been told, I thought I would send you a card of this place of which I am the keeper and where I live. I am acquainted with a Mr. Edmund E. Field, who visits me occasionally; he had the position Otto got now, before him. With warmest regards to all, Jack.”

The return address on the card says J.J. Cook, P.O. Box 475, Stamford, CT. The postcard is labeled “Lighthouse, Stamford, Conn.” and is also referred to as Chatham Rocks Light.
