I was pleased to see the story of Sharp's Island Lighthouse in your magazine. I hope the additional exposure helps generate additional ideas for the structure. Please publish my E-Mail address as I want to open additional lines of communication with the public for this and other matters.
Address your specifuic comments: At this stage I am conducting a survey to determine the operational need for the light. That stage is completed April fisrt. Depending on the results of the survey we will start looking as our options for the light. Be assured that if any action is planned that would affect the light, we would consult with the Maryland State Historic Preservation Officer and the Advisory Council for Historioc Preservation prior to taking any action.
