Directions:
This lighthouse was formerly accessible for land, but is no longer. Bill Edwards reports in April 2005: A section of breakwall at the shore is now gone.  The rest of the wall is still there -- don't know if this was done on purpose or by Mother Nature.  But you can no longer walk out directly to the light from land.  It wasn't very safe to do in the first place. There are still various places nearby to view it from.
