Notes:
This vessel was built in 1936. Its station assignments were: 1936-1942: Nantucket Shoals (MA); 1942-1945: Examination Vessel, WWII; 1945-1958: Nantucket Shoals, (MA); 1958-1960: Relief (1st District); 1960-1975: Nantucket Shoals (MA). It was used as a museum from 1975 until 1984 in Nantucket, MA, and then in Portland, ME. From 1997 to March 2002 it was at Captain's Cove Seaport in Bridgeport, CT. It arrived in Brooklyn, NY on March 30, 2002 for maintenance and will eventually be part of the National Lighthouse Museum. The lightship will have a major role in museum programs.

This light is not operational

Current Use: Museum exhibit.
