This is a privately built "faux" lighthouse that overlooks a 40-acre lake. It was originally owned by the Chicago Lumber Company of Omaha. According to Diana Lowrey, "If you ask a resident of the area about the lighthouse, they usually reply with something like, 'No shipwrecks since it was built, so it seems to be doing the job." The tower is ten stories high, with a spiral stairway up the center.
