Characteristic and Range: Four white flashes every 30 seconds, visible for 26 nautical miles.

Fog Signal: Discontinued 1987 (was 3 blasts every 90 seconds).
Current Use: Active aid to navigation.
Open To Public? Grounds only.
Directions:
Rowland Brooks writes: "Officially the grounds around the lighthouse are private, as the old lighthouse accommodation building is now a private home. You can get good photos from the public viewing area. However, as long as permission is requested from the owners, there should be no problem if someone wanted a closer view."
