This lighthouse was built by Bill Klauer. It houses a gift shop and is adjacent to a bed and breakfast inn. The view from the top encompasses three states: Iowa, Wisconsin and Illinois. 0n a clear day, you can see points as far as 48 miles away, in Wisconsin, and across the Mississippi River.

Characteristic and Range: Flashing white every 18 seconds, with a range of 27 miles.
