Notes:
Big Charity Island is the only uninhabited large island in the lower Great Lakes. The 322-acre island is privately owned. The privately owned keeper's dwelling, in poor condition, was razed in the spring of 2003, with the cellar remaining. A replica of the house was then built on the old foundation.
Description of Tower: White, conical brick tower with black cast iron lantern.
Listed on the Lighthouse Digest Doomsday List of endangered lighthouses.
