ALF's Museum of Lighthouse History in Rockland, Maine

The Museum of Lighthouse History is dedicated to the preservation, educational interpretation and promotion of America’s rich lighthouse heritage and is learning fun for the entire family. The Museum’s extensive collection of lighthouse artifacts includes lenses, uniforms, historic images, flags, fog bells, a wide range of light station related items utilized by keepers to send out the light and human interest stories that are to sure to please and fascinate even the most casual visitor.
Maine Lighthouse Museum in Rockland, Maine

The Maine Lighthouse Museum and Gateway Visitor Center opened Saturday June 25th. The Maine Lighthouse Museum is the proud home of the largest collection of lighthouse lenses, and one of the most important landmark collections of lighthouse artifacts and Coast Guard memorabilia in the United States. The collection was formerly displayed at the Shore Village Museum until its closing in October, 2004.
