The tower remains illuminated while the beacon rotates 360-degrees around! This "First Time Ever" ceramic replica from Lefton is powered by the provided AC adapter with on/off switch and comes with an embossed hang tag and brief history. 11"H.

Montauk Light, at the eastern most point of Long Island, NY, was originally built in 1797 of "Chatham freestone, fine hammered." The tower was rebuilt in 1860, increasing its height from 80 to 108 feet. Its light can be seen for 19 miles.
