Biography Information:
Elinor DeWire
Elinor DeWire has been researching, photographing, and writing about lighthouses since 1973, when she moved to Maine with her husband on a military assignment. Since that time, she has lived on many coasts and visited more than 500 lighthouses. Currently, she resides on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State where she writes and lectures. Ms. DeWire has authored seven books and more than 100 magazine articles about her favorite topic -- lighthouses.
