These two "old salts" are (l) EM1 Chuck Stercks and MK1 Mack Mackenzie. Stercks from Bend, Oregon has been with the Coast Guard for 12 years, while Mackenzie from Tucson, Arizona has seen 20 years of service. Both men are familiar with lighthouse maintenance.
