James Wilson Gillikin (1875-1925). His career with the U.S. Lighthouse Service spanned 40 years serving at many Outer Banks lighthouses including Roanoke River Light, Laurel Point Light, Harbor Island Bar Light, Ocracoke Light and Cape Lookout Light.
