The Lighthouse Kids were surprised when Rear Admiral Vivien Crea, Commander, of the First Coast Guard District (second from right) presented them with a Coast Guard Award for their efforts to raise public awareness and funds to save New Hampshire’s Isles of Shoals Lighthouse. The award was presented to the Lighthouse Kids at the opening dinner meeting of the International Lighthouse Conference, which was held in New Bedford, MA.
