Photo Caption:

Neil Corbett (left), who grew up on Little River Light where his father was keeper in the 1930’s, takes a moment to pose with Bill Green from the television show, “Bill Green’s Maine.” Neil recounted many of his memories of growing up at this light station in Downeast Maine. When Neil was asked how the lighthouse keeper and his family handled the type of weather as we had experienced that day, he smiled and with a true Downeast Maine accent, simply replied, “We weren’t that foolish, we stayed indoors where it was safe and warm.”
