"For the lights" Auction on Ebay to Save Lighthouses

Over the coming months The American Lighthouse Foundation will be auctioning off hundreds if not thousands of items on E-Bay, the Internet auction site, to help raise money for lighthouse restoration and preservation projects.

You can help by bidding on items or donating items to be sold on the site. To view what The American Lighthouse Foundation is auctioning off, simply go to the Ebay home page. At the top of the page go into SEARCH then go BY SELLER and type in the space next to BY SINGLE SELLER the word “forthelights” and everything that The American Lighthouse Foundation currently has listed for auction will appear.

Volunteers will be adding new items to the site about every two weeks and will also handle the payments and shipping out of the items. So, if you want to help, simply bid on some of the items you’d like to buy and add to your collection. Remember, new items will be added every couple of weeks, so keep checking back.

Or, if you have quality collectibles or other items that you’d like to donate for the ongoing auction (and it doesn’t even have to be lighthouse related - we’ll sell anything for lighthouses) send your donated items to:
