There have been 36,000 Special Edition 25 oz. glass jars printed and distributed exclusively to Hannaford Stores throughout the east coast. These special dressing jars feature the Nubble Lighthouse in York, Maine. The Nubble Lighthouse is one of the most photographed lighthouses in the world.

For each jar purchased, Litehouse Dressing will donate a percentage to the American Lighthouse Foundation. The Foundation is dedicated to preserving Lighthouses and Lightships throughout the United States. Flavors available include Lite Salsa Ranch, Jalapeno Ranch, Homestyle Ranch, Chunky Bleu Cheese and Caesar.

The special edition lighthouse jars are part of an on-going partnership between Litehouse and the American Lighthouse Foundation. Additional Litehouse promotions include sponsorship of the Hannaford’s “Lighthouse on Parade” traveling lighthouse, and a manufacturer coupon that donates a percentage of sales back to the American Lighthouse Foundation.

Litehouse Foods, based in Sandpoint, Idaho, is a family-owned business that produces, packages and markets a line of more than 1,300 items, including fresh refrigerated salad dressings, crumbled Bleu cheese, fruit and vegetable dips, as well as caramel, marinades, sauces and freeze-dried herbs.
