 Lefton Lost Light Frank's Island, LA

We're re-introducing this popular "Lost Light" as an open edition at one-half the price of the original limited edition released in 2000! Now you can experience just how magnificent this vanished structure really was with a handpainted resin replica from Lefton. Includes a wooden display base and dated brass nameplate. To build Frank's Island Light in Louisiana, it took more than a million bricks, 200 tons of stone and 800 tons of timber. Completed in 1818, the lighthouse was so heavy, it immediately began to sink into the mud. In a matter of days, the walls tilted, masonry cracked and the lighthouse fell into pieces. 5 1/2" x 4 1/2".
