Commerce Lighthouse Flag
>>Click to enlarge (Size: 199,437 bytes)<< The only lighthouse flag still used today by the United States Government is the flag of the Department of Commerce. The blue and white flag shown here is an exact replica of the flag used by the Secretary of Commerce and Labor from 1910 until Labor split off to become a separate cabinet post. At that time the style of the lighthouse was slightly changed but the flag is still the official flag of the Secretary of Commerce. The Deputy Secretary of Commerce and General Counsel and certain other departments within the Commerce Department also use the same exact design but with different color combinations. At one time the U.S. Lighthouse Service operated under the Department of Commerce. This makes a great historic flag to fly under your American flag, or by itself from your home, dock or even from a boat. Plus you can people of the historic significance of the flag.
Handcrafted in the USA, flag has brass grommets, reinforced end stitching and measures 24” x 18”.
