This lighthouse is the oldest brick lighthouse on the Great Lakes. It is within Silver Lake State Park, which contains over 1,500 acres of sand dunes that can be explored on foot or by vehicle.

Follow Silver Lake Road towards Lake Michigan. Continue as the road becomes more narrow. Follow for about 0.5 mile to a parking area. The lighthouse is a short distance away, past some sand dunes.
