Location: Outer end of breakwater, entrance to Lunenburg Harbour, south shore of Nova Scotia.

Notes:
The keeper's house here was sold and moved away in 1995.

Tower Height: 26

Height of Focal Plane: 25

Characteristic and Range: Fixed red, visible for 13 nautical miles.

Description of Tower: White, square pyramidal wooden tower with red lantern and trim.

This light is operational

Date Established: 1937

Date Present Tower Built: 1951

Date Automated: 1987

Fog Signal: Automated horn: one two-second blast every 20 seconds

Current Use: Active aid to navigation.

Directions:
From Bob Crawford: "It is only seen VERY distantly from the major wharf in Lunenburg, or up close from tour boats. Located on a breakwater from National Sea Products. On the land side is a high steel security fence and guard DOGS (!) so I didn't try to go into property."
