Notes:
This privately-built working lighthouse was built using "tilt-up" construction. The technique involves casting large concrete panels and tilting them up to form the load bearing walls of a building. The design is said to have been inspired by Brant Point Lighthouse on Nantucket, Massachusetts. The lighthouse serves as a private aid to navigation and as a signpost for an upscale development.
