This lighthouse, which was built in the wrong place, was replaced by Point Perpindicular Light in 1899. The Navy used the lighthouse for target practice for a few years. The ruins have been stabilized to prevent further decay. The site is within Booderee National Park.
Description of Tower: Conical sandstone tower on one-story dwelling.
