Main Duck Island has a sheltered harbor, one of the few in the area. The island is within St. Lawrence Islands National Park.

Characteristic and Range: Flashing white every 6 seconds, visible for 17 miles.

Description of Tower: Octagonal concrete tower.

Current Use: Active aid to navigation.
