Museum?
Volunteer-led three-hour walking tours are available. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for children 13-18, $2 for children 5-12. The tour includes a rise in elevation of 360 feet and two stairways of 40-50 steps each. Tours are year round, Saturday 10 am and 2 pm, Sunday at 10 am (no tour on April 30). In summer (April-October) there are also tours on Wednesdays at 10 am and 2 pm, and in July and August there are also tours on Thursdays at 10 am. There are also occasional evening tours; call (831) 625-4419 for information. The park is not handicapped accessible, but for information on special needs tours call (831) 667-0528. Tours may be cancelled due to extreme weather; even in summer be sure to be prepared for cold and windy conditions.
Directions:
Tours start from the west side of Highway 1 at the farm gate, 19 miles south of Rio Road in Carmel, 1/4 mile north of the Point Sur Naval facility.
