Notes:
The lighthouse was replaced by an automatic beacon in 1919; it has been a private residence since 1922. The current owner, Jason Pilalas, remodeled the interior and had a new lantern room constructed in 1993.

Description of Tower: White cast iron octagonal tower on granite keeper's dwelling.

Best seen from the water. Mystic Seaport, a large museum complex in Mystic, offers a ride on the vintage steamer Sabino on the Mystic River as far as Morgan Point. Call (860) 572-5351 for details. Capt. John's Sport Fishing Center in Waterford, CT, offers an excellent lighthouse cruise that includes Morgan Point Light; call (860) 443-7259 for information.
