The lighthouse is located on a U.S. Naval Air Test Center; the Maryland Department of Natural Resources has bought the light station from the Navy. Follow Maryland State Route 5 to Point Lookout State Park. Continue on for two miles to the lighthouse at the end of the road. For information on the yearly open house (usually in fall), call the Maryland Park Service at 301-872-5688.
