Notes:
The original 1838 Mayo Beach Lighthouse was a keeper's house with the lantern on the roof. A new cast iron tower and wood frame keeper's house were built in 1881. The tower was torn down in 1939. The keeper's house is now a private residence. The oil house also still stands.

The keeper's house can be seen at Mayo Beach inm Wellfleet, but keep in mind that it is a private residence and do not trespass on the property.
